Software Engineer II – BETA CAE Systems
Location: Kato Scholari

Cadence Design Systems, together with BETA CAE Systems in Greece, is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the team in Kato Scholari. Cadence is a global leader in mechanical and electronic system design, and BETA CAE delivers cutting-edge engineering software solutions used across industries such as automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, communications, hyperscale computing, and healthcare.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment alongside teams from both companies. You will contribute to the development of advanced tools, new technologies, and products that support customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain C/C++ software for Linux and Windows
• Build software tools for finite element (FE) simulations and analysis workflows
• Design and implement algorithms for engineering applications
• Process engineering data from CAE platforms
• Create advanced visualizations for FE models, results, and simulations
• Work closely with global teams in R&D, QA, and Customer Service

Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of statics and strength of materials
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Very good command of English

Preferred Qualifications:
• Thesis or specialization in Computational Mechanics
• Familiarity with the Finite Element Method
• Experience using CAD/CAE software
• Programming background in C/C++
• Understanding of numerical analysis techniques
