DRAVE HELLAS Specialty Underwriting is a newly established MGA oriented to deliver tailored (re)insurance solutions, ensuring comprehensive coverage, fair pricing, ample wordings for brokers and their clients across various industries. Based in the Athens Metropolitan Area covering also various regional markets, we aim to provide trusted and expert guidance to our brokers and partners.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Underwriter or Insurance officer for our Liability business segment. This position is intendedto assist in underwriting and evaluating liability insurance applications and determining appropriate coverage and pricing.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing policy requirements, reviewing documentation, communicating with brokers and or clients, communication with head office in Milan.

Qualifications:
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk evaluation and underwriting decisions
2.Certification of Insurance Intermediaries-Agents (type A) desired and necessary
3. Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and experience managing multiple cases simultaneously
4. Communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, and brokers
5. Familiarity with insurance principles and liability-specific underwriting practices
6. Proficiency in relevant software tools and data analysis, mostly Excel, Word, Power Point
7. Prefer but not necessary Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or Statistics or Finance, Business or a related field
8. Fluency or working knowledge of English
